I’m a professional photographer based in Sacramento. Most of my work is within the areas of corporate, architectural and public relations assignments. For my personal work, I try to capture what I see which means simply carrying a camera whenever I go somewhere.
It seems like I’ve always had a camera, even at a pretty young age, but I didn’t fall in love with photography until I was in college. I bought my first SLR and took a few classes. It didn’t take long to get hooked. Before long, I started to formulate plans of making a career out of this hobby. I found photography to be creative, but technical; challenging, but rewarding.
In 1996, I officially hung out my shingle hoping to make enough money at first to pay for what was turning out to be a very expensive hobby. Over the years, as business grew, my love for the craft has never diminished. I worked full time while I built my business to the point it would be a living. In 2003, I officially cast off the lines with Intel Corporation and pointed myself toward a life of making images and self employment. Since then, I have worked with the most interesting people, photographed the most amazing things and been to places I would have never otherwise been. during 2007 and 2008, I served as official photographer for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, I’m back to working for myself making photographs for businesses, big and small.
Occasionally I get asked if I do family portraits or weddings. Although I don’t market in those areas, I am more than happy to help out.
